We advise parents and other caregivers as well as professionals on topics relating to family life and parenting, including crises, excessive demands and violence. Counselling takes place by telephone, email, chat or on site.

24-hour telephone counseling
Our counselors are available for you around the clock*, confidentially, free of charge and anonymously if you wish. You can contact us on all topics relating to parenting, child development and family life that challenge you as a parent or caregiver and on which you would like to receive support.
- For all those involved in parenting: We are a support center for parents of children of all ages as well as young adults. People close to the family (relatives, neighbors, etc.) and professionals in the family environment (teachers, daycare staff, etc.) can also call us.
- Languages: We offer counseling in the national languages German, French (callback within 24 hours) and Italian (callback within 48 hours) as well as in English (callback within 24 hours) and Spanish (callback within 48 hours).
* Your call to the Elternnotruf will be answered by the Dargebotene Hand at night between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Chat counseling
Our counselors are available on this channel Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Personal counseling
If you would like to explore a topic in more depth over a period of time, there is the option of personal counseling on site or via video. To ensure continuity and progress, these consultations always take place with the same counselor. We offer timely counseling appointments at income-based rates.
